I just flat love to write. The Internet can turn anyone into a writing maniac, full of inspirational passion that one never knew existed within themselves. And, like many rewarding hobbies, the more you do it, the more you want to do it. The satisfaction that you can derive from writing on your favorite social network, to your very own blog, to writing articles gives you such an abundance of opportunity to express yourself to the world at large, it can keep you up at night.
While writing has always come easily for me, never in my wildest dreams did I think I’d be writing article after article, humorous quips, blogs, essays, opinion pieces, comedy, blues songs and whatever else my brain can imagine. It’s a definite addiction, and one that I hope pays off in spades someday.
Indulging your passion for writing about things that light your fire can be extremely habit-forming. Heck, let’s just call it what it is: an addiction. The satisfaction you get after completing an article, a blog post, a reply to an email or a Facebook friend’s comment keeps you coming back for more, and more and, yes, MORE.
To think that just by writing about what you’re interested in can also serve as one of the best marketing practices online is quite motivating. I do it just about everyday. You’ll find that after you force yourself to do it, you have this gnawing, craving sensation that keeps you blasting away at the keyboard for many hours at a time. You can easily lose yourself to your writing pursuits, and it just plain feels good. It’s creativity in its finest hour.
Article-marketing is a force to be reckoned with. It gives you, and whatever it is that you might be promoting, the key ingredient for success: Exposure. The more articles you write, the more exposure you are given. It’s all about developing good writing habits and getting into the swing of things. Since it is so easy to become a writer these days, there are millions of folks doing it. But, don’t let that diminish your willingness to jump into the writing waters and go for broke.
The viral nature of the Web means that anyone can get lucky. Does it happen to most of us? Of course not. But, it still can happen. YouTube is another extension of writing, letting the video present itself to your potential audience. That’s another addiction of mine. I love writing songs, recording them in my small hovel of an office no-frills-style, just an unplugged acoustic guitar and my latest “hit” single. I won’t bore you with any more details now. I’ll save that for another article later on down the road.
But, once you get the ball rolling, Internet gravity takes care of the rest. I hope you find your voice online. You’ll just keep getting better at it the more you take the small risk of giving it a try. If I can do this, why can’t you? You can.
